Community Profile

Quesnel can be found where the Fraser and Quesnel rivers meet in the Central Interior of British Columbia, Canada (see map below).  Quesnel is considered the commercial center of the North Cariboo and 25,000 people can be found within 50km of the city center.

Quesnel is rich with natural resources, recreational opportunities, and an abundance of skilled workers.  Our city is also perfect for shipping as we are well served by CN Rail, we are also located on Highway 97 which is the major north-south corridor in BC, and we are 120km (73 miles) from Highway 16 which is the major east-west corridor connecting central BC to central Alberta.
