Both the City of Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional District provide maps that show the zoning of different communities. The City of Quesnel has their zoning map located on their website.

As the Cariboo Regional District manages mostly unincorporated areas of the Cariboo, property will be covered by a zoning or a rural land use bylaw. The CRD also has an Official Community Plan that can verify zoning areas. In Quesnel the CRD office is located at #102 – 410 Kinchant Street, located beside the Quesnel & District Library.
